Bliss: Spacious Beach Home

Overall we enjoyed our stay Positive: The property was spacious and clean. It was located on the road so it was easy to locate. Negative: The toilet seat was broken

Positive: The house is beautiful. Four lovely bedrooms, all with double beds and very comfortable. The property has a beach view and the beach is just over the road. The property has a garden with barbecue too. The property isn't far from folkestone too, with many shops and places to eat and a zoo not far from the property too. Property suitable for family's, couples or groups of friends. 4 double beds, so can sleep 8 people Negative: Nothing

The property was, aside for some maintenance issues, clean and functional. "Stunning", it was not. Positive: Beds comfortable and numerous. Clean and comfortable inside. Negative: Exit from property on a bend in road.....dangerous. Beach over the road has poor reputation as sewer outlet is close. Upstairs shower door difficult to shut. Rear door does not lock properly. Stove door fell apart during normal use. General outside appearance was not good enough eg. cobwebs everywhere plus plenty of weeds and overgrown areas out the back. On the outside especially, it all looked unloved and uncared for.

Fabulous house, lovely location! Positive: Absolutely fabulous location, a lovely modern family home with plenty of space. The neighbours are also lovely, very friendly. All in all , a home from home experience. I will be booking again. Negative: There is nothing to report.that I disliked.

The condition of this property spoiled our stay and we couldn’t wait to leave Positive: Opposite beach but very busy/noisy road Negative: The property was in very poor condition and should not be listed in its current state. Both toilet seats were unattached and the agent was made aware at least 2 weeks prior to our stay via a previous review . I called them upon arrival and they came out the next day to replace them but they were unable to fix and left new seats loose. Insufficient towels - they supplied more next day Bedding damp Dirty carpets /rugs, stained sofa , beds and pillows Garden overgrown - patio and furniture unusable covered in birds poo Insufficient pots n pans and cutlery Windows dirty and couple cracks . Kitchen window hanging off frame Broken fridge left in corner with door hanging off Bedroom door hanging off frame Window blinds broken Shower doors didn’t shut / dirty and blocked Advertised as two bathrooms but it’s a toilet downstairs with a triton shower head hanging loose And no handle to sliding door to exit the toilet Front door keys bent and difficult to open door No toiletries provided
